Report - add a sort with a dot-walking field

Hello everyone !

I have a question about the configuration of a report based on the [goal] table. We would like to add a sort on a principal project field (u_rank), but the field is not proposed on the list, we only see date or datetime fields (see the screenshot). Do you know if this is the expected behavior ? and if yes, is there an explanation ?

May be because of that field type.

what's the field type?

Did you check with some other field of same field type and see if it shows in Sort option?

This is a choice field, there is another choice field (close code) that does not appear.

I don't understand why choice type is not represented, do you have an explanation ?

The fact that it is a 'u_'-field, means that it is custom. So without knowing more about it, it's impossible to answer your question.

The field "u_rank" is a choice field with 70 occurences (value = 1---> 70) belonging to [pm_project] table.

If I have a look for another field that is not custom, for exemple the phase (String), I can’t find it either...

Except one or two, all field proposed have the date or datetime types.
