Report - add a sort with a dot-walking field

Hello everyone !

I have a question about the configuration of a report based on the [goal] table. We would like to add a sort on a principal project field (u_rank), but the field is not proposed on the list, we only see date or datetime fields (see the screenshot). Do you know if this is the expected behavior ? and if yes, is there an explanation ?

I have encountered the same problem but for the cmdb_ci field (reference field). Did you ever find a workaround for this?

I opened a case, but the response is that's an expected behaviour !
