Hello @JohnEJasinski,

A CIO scorecard, even without Performance Analytics (PA), can effectively track IT performance by focusing on key metrics that align with business objectives, such as IT costs, project delivery, security, and user satisfactionConsider using a balanced scorecard approach, incorporating financial, customer, internal process, and learning & growth perspectives. Examples include cost per user, project delivery on time/budget, security incidents, and end-user satisfaction surveys. Indexed metrics can be represented visually using color-coded indicators (e.g., green for on-target, yellow for slight deviation, red for significant deviation) or by charting trends over time.

Let's say you want to track "Project Delivery on Time/Budget". You could:
  1. Define a target: 90% of projects completed on time and within budget.
  2. Collect data: Track the actual percentage of projects meeting the target.
  3. Implement indexing:
    • Green (On Target): 85-100%
    • Yellow (Slight Deviation): 75-85%
    • Red (Significant Deviation): Below 75%
