Why are only Date/Time fields allowed in relative date filters in Platform Analytics List View?

Hi all,

I recently encountered a limitation in the Platform Analytics List View while trying to apply a condition like:

"Purchased" is less than 4 years before "End of Life"

In my case:

• "Purchased" is a field of type Date.

• "End of Life" (u_euc_eol) is also of type Date (not Date/Time).

However, the "End of Life" field doesn’t appear as an option in the condition builder when I try to create this filter. 

From testing, it seems that the right-hand side field in such a relative condition must be of Date/Time type in order to be selectable.

Can someone help clarify:

• Why are only Date/Time fields allowed here?

• Is there a way to work around this limitation?
