What is Reporting?
ServiceNow® Reporting enables you to create and distribute reports that show the current state of instance date, such as the number of open incidents of each priority. Reporting functionality is available by default for all tables, except system tables.
Reporting features:
- Visualize and analyze current instance data.
- Share with users on dashboards, service portal, export to pdf, and email.
- Use the data visualization component in the UI Builder to create a report visualizations for Next Experience.

Release Highlights
Xanadu
- Core UI Reporting functionality is deprecated in favor of Data visualizations in Platform Analytics for new instances and instances that have migrated to the Platform Analytics experience.
Utah
- ACL Assessment for Reports evaluates against all report_view ACLs and against blocking Read ACLs.
- Dark theme support for visualizations.
