2 breakdowns applied to a dashboard with several indicators

Hi,

I have problems to order the information obtained from several indicators in my dashboard.  Maybe anybody can help me...

I have several indicators about incidents, and all  them have two breakdowns at least: Company and Assignment group.

I know that I can use 2 breakdown sources at my dashbaord, but I don`t need it. I need to apply first a breakdown "Assignment group"  and "Company2 later. That is, I have several assignment groups, and each group has incidents from different Companies. So that I would need to apply Assignment Group first, and inside it, I need to obtains its incident grouped by Company.

I know that with a breakdown widget I can do  it,

find_real_file.png

BUT I would like to include several indicators inside a unique widget. Something like this:

dashboard:find_real_file.png

widget def:

find_real_file.png

I need to show the number of Closed, Alive, Resolved, Canceled, Opened incidents assigned to each group (in my example L2-IB-IT REPORTING)  of each Company. Is there anyway to obtain whta I need?

Thanks in advace!

Inaki&Maria,

If I understand correctly, you want to create a separate indicator for Closed, Alive, Resolved, Canceled, Opened incidents to work around the 2 levels of breakdown limit?
I think there is no way to show all the indicators and select the values for both Assignment Group and Company on the same widget at the same time. You can create a Time Series or List widget that would show 5 indicators, but you could only have one breakdown selected interactively, on the breakdown dashboard. Only breakdown widgets let you select the element of a second breakdown interactively, as you showed in your post. But breakdown widgets do not support widget indicators. The stacked column visualization on a time series widget shows widget indicators, but on a breakdown widget it can show only breakdown elements, and you are back to the 2-level limit. I was looking at workbench widgets, but I don't think those will help, either, because the component widgets on the workbench are all time series or list.

Someone like @Thomas Davis may have a clever workaround. I'm just a tech writer. But I think you are stuck with creating a separate widget for each Closed/Alive/Resolved/Canceled/Opened incidents indicator. This is how we have our OOTB dashboards and incidents organized.
