Add the URL of a new Platform Analytics dashboard to a new module

Hi colleagues,

Due to my company's requirements, I need to know how to add a new module to the ServiceNow sidebar that points to a dashboard created within Platform Analytics.

I tried adding the module with URL Arguments, and it opens the URL, but the dashboard doesn't finish loading.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Víctor Mesa

@Victor Mesa

so you want a direct link in left nav which takes user to platform analytics dashboard?

If yes then open your dashboard, get the relative URL (starting from now) and create module with link Type URL from Arguments

When I clicked the module in left nav -> it opened the dashboard

Output

I created the module with the URL from arguments, but when a user with the ITIL role tries to open that module, the page doesn't go past "Loading"

@Victor Mesa

is it working fine for admin?

is that dashboard shared with that person?

it worked for me when I impersonated with ITIL User and module clicked -> it opened the dashboard

No, it doesn't work with the admin user either, the page stays in Loading but it will finish loading.
