Blank User Values in sys_gen_ai_usage_log Table

We are currently using the sys_gen_ai_usage_log table to create reports as per business requirements. While analyzing the data, we observed that AI usage records for a significant number of entries show the user field as “blank.” We understand that a recent patch addresses the root cause of this issue and prevents it from occurring going forward. However, the patch does not correct the historical records where the user information is already missing. At present, approximately 50% of the total usage records contain blank user values, which is substantially impacting our reporting and analysis. We would like to request assistance in identifying a solution to correct the historical data. If possible, a script or alternative approach may be needed to retroactively update the blank user records. Could you please help us resolve this issue?

Hi @jaydeepbahu,
what are the business requirements? building reports on logs isn't maybe the best idea.... as the logs are not supposed to be source for reports.

Thank you for your reply. We want to track AI adoption in various ways like, ticket level, skill level, department level, user level, manager hierarchy level and OOTB dashboard does not have fesibility.
