Can we import existing Dashboard in Platform Analytics Workspace

Hi all,

We are planing our migration to Tokyo. I am interested in promoting the Platform Analytics Workspace. We already have many reports and Dashboard existing in the Standard UI. Can we import / use then in this new Platform?

Thanks for Your Help

I see this many times with ServiceNow, where new capability is introduced there is a drive to adopt but there are no migration paths which doubles up the effort and results in customer not adopting new capabilities

Hi all,

Yes, there will be a way to move your current (coreUI) analytics content into Next Experiences. Not there (yet) indeed, unfortunately, as we're working hard to get all the features and capabilities in. Know that we are not just striving to be feature complete on what you currently expect with solutions like dashboards, Reporting, or Performance Analytics, but to immediately make it a lot better. Not just on look and feel, but on actual chart and dashboard options as well.

We have to do this as we want customers to be fully able to shift their analytics way of working to the Next Experience. But yes, that migration is coming in a near future release.

Coincidentally I did a Platform Academy session yesterday on this topic, the value of Next Experience analytics, where I give not just a lot of context of value of the whole and individual parts, but also explain the plan (and release timelines) on when you would be able to opt-in to the Next. See this link for the Academy library but also for future sessions to come, as many will be related to this plan to support you in getting to the Next Experience Analytics.
