Change default for exporting CSV from email

I was given the option by ServiceNow to default large files to be emailed to me. At that time it was a lot easier to get an email so I defaulted to that rather than waiting. That way I could keep working.

However I'm now finding that in some cases the file size is larger than 25MB, which is our email limit.

How can I un-default this option so I can start downloading directly from the application again? At present I cannot export really large files.

I've continued to use various combinations of search terms and "Remember My Decision" eventually found this for me:

“You need to go to - User Preferences - export_warn - and delete "email" in Value field.”

This is from two years ago. If this is accurate for Jakarta then I think I found my answer.

This solution is still valid as of San Diego. Thanks!

I am using Washington DC, User had the same issue. The link to the community above no longer works.

However, follow the same path and remove the record from that user.

“You need to go to - User Preferences - search for Name "export_warn"  and User: (NAME OF USER IN QUESTION) - then delete the record.", Have the user relog into there profile and test to confirm the option to email or wait is back. again.
