Change the title of a static content block on the dashboard

Hi

 

I want to change the title of a static content block on the dashboard
Although the content of the title can be modified by modifying the contents of the Portal Preferences table
But this is not a good approach.
Is there any good way?

Hi @ZHANG_QI 

If you are you talking about static HTML type Content block in dashboard, in general the Name field in the configuration becomes the title of the widget in dashboard.

I modified the name field in the configuration, but the title of the widget in the dashboard was not changed.

@ZHANG_QI Yes it is expected, the title of widget will be set to the name of the block on creation, it won't change on updating the name field.

 

You can follow the way you are doing, i.e. changing it through portal preferences.
