CIO Dashboard vs standard dashboards

Hello,

I'm looking for some knowledge on CIO dashboards and how they compare to regular dashboards.

I understand that the CIO dashboards help IT Leaders to create decisions based on IT performance in real time and whether investments are meeting the expected benefits.

However, how is this different to a normal dashboard? Can't normal dashboards present this information? what are the limitations of normal dashboards in this scenario? How does a CIO dashboard overcome this?

Also, I've read that CIO dashboards trigger actions. what actions are these and how are they triggered?

Sorry for my lack of understanding, but I'm struggling to find anything online that answers these questions.

Thanks

Ollie

Hi @Oliver Parker ,

From my understanding, the reason for a CIO Dashboard, Management Dashboard or/and technical Dashboard is just about the need of information based on the level of the viewer. Off course, a single dashboard can contain whatever information that you need, but it is best practice to create different dashboards for different personas.
