Dashboard breakdown multi-select

I have a Breakdown on a Dashboard containing both PA Widgets and Reports.   Even though the breakdown is configured to "Act as Interactive Filter" that is configured for multi-select... the interface for the PA dashboard doesn't seem to allow more than one selection.

Contrast that with an Interactive Filter placed manually on a Dashboard:   Multi-select works great... except I don't know if it does anything for PA widgets.

My question is... can I get the Dashboard breakdown to work like that multi-select Interactive Filter?

This is not supported (at least through Kingston).   Interactive Filters run a query live so they can slice and dice any way you want.   The breakdowns are pulling the scores data so they are limited to what we collected.   Only one choice is allowed at a time because not all scores can be combined.   There are non-mutually exclusive breakdowns which can't simply be combined and we have indicators with averages which can't simply be combined together.

Like on-the-fly or preset? We use presets as we have 33 companies divided into 4 segments, but be curious if you can on the fly.

If I have that situation, I would either:



1) Use a parent-child relationship with a hierarchy rollup and breakdown relations.


2) Use a bucket group breakdown



Then you can use this as your breakdown on your dashboard.
