Date filter not working properly on data visualization with formula indicator as expected

Hi everyone,

I'd like to implement a date filter for my data visualization on my dashboard. For example, to set a viewing period like last month, last 3 months, last 6 months, etc. to display a trend in percentage. For this, I created a formula indicator with 2 contributing indicators. The frequency of their indicator source is set to monthly and I made a historic snapshot of the system for the last 12 months via job.

Here you can see the current values I'm getting. Now I thought that when I filter with the filter, the percentage number would change accordingly, but it always stays the same. I made the absolute numbers next to it to see if the filter works. No matter if I set last month or other months. I think I need to design the indicators more meaningfully, but I don't know how.

I created individual indicators this time with conditions just like I want my filters to be and then I have different percentages.

I actually expect these percentages when I change the filter, the first screenshot is an example for last month. And the second example for the last 6 months with the percents I expect.

Do I need to somehow record the tickets monthly for the 30 days and then I can change the percentages with the filter? Where could the error be? I'm grateful for any help. Thanks.

Did you add a breakdown or are you trying to use an interactive filter?

Thank you for your reply.

I no longer work with CoreUI, as it is outdated soon. I currently work with the UI Builder in Platform Analytics.

There are no interactive filters available, only a standard filter component. No breakdowns are set up for the indicators. The current filter is a date filter applied to the table.

Could you advise on how to implement breakdowns and interactive filters? Maybe I can copy this approach.

I have the same issue, Date filter doesn't work with indicators on Platform Analytics Dashboard. As per article they say that it should work automatically with the KPI's but it doesn't work. Did you find a solution?

Shared this with filter dev, who said it looked to him like the filter was working, because you have the right start date in your visualization. He suggests raising a Support ticket and having them look at your instance.
