Date variables in email subject

Hello community,

Please can you tell me how it is possible to get the current month and year in an email subject?

Background, we have a scheduled report, which is sent monthly via email. This email contains excel files with data from the last month. Currently our monthly email has always the same fixed subject. It would be fine if we can add Month and Year in the Subject.

It would also be great, if the attached Excel could have those variables (month and date) in the file name. Currently the customer always have to add the date information, when he/she saves the excel.

thanks

kind regards,

Manuel

What I exactly want is, the last month in the mail subject of a scheduled report.

This email is sent monthly, which includes ticket data from the last given month.

The mail will be sent always on the first of a month at 00:01

For example on Sunday 01.04.2022 the emails was sent at 00:01 with the data from March.

The next email will be sent on 01.05 at 00:01 with the data from April.

So I want the last month in the subject, for example: "Reports xy from *month_variable*".

If the last month is to difficult, I also can define, that the scheduled report will be sent on 23:59:59 in the current month.

And my second/optional wish, is to add the same month variable in the report title, if this is possible.

Because, the scheduled report will be sent as an excel file. The customer always saves this file on a network drive. The customer has to add the month information in the filename.

Attached you find two screenshots, i marked the postion where the variable should be in the name.

scheduled report.jpg --> this is my main question

report.jpg --> this is the report which is attached as excel file and which has currently always a fixed name. This is my second/optional wish, if I can add here also the month variable. That the customer do not has to add manually always the month while saving the file as.
