In reviewing one of our operational dashboards for Problem Management, one of the problem managers who reviews multiple Assignment Groups they are associated too (we use a Problem Manager field in the Assignment Group record to identify who the problem manager is), were unable to see a group listed in the report. For example, The Problem Operations Manager for 76 groups, wants to quickly see all the groups they are associated to from the Report.
Expanding this section, lists out the groups. But when searching for specific groups (using CRT+F), some groups can't be found directly in the report on the dashboard. This is due to a Show limit from the List Controls contextual menu.
Solution: These grouped lists are limited by the Show items from the List Controls option:
Out of Box, users are limited to 20 rows per page. Extending this to 50, allows them to see up to 50 items from a Grouped List Report.
Problem: ServiceNow does not allow a user to see more then this "show" limit on a Grouped List Report. So the only way to see the entire list, is selecting the grouped category, which takes them to a list view of that report (similar to "All Open Incidents" from the left navigation bar).
Are there plans for ServiceNow to fix this, in regards to allowing the Show limit to be bigger for reports specifically? Anyone have a better workaround?

Using a grouped list is fine with small numbers of groups, but this can cause performance problems when the number of groups increases. The "show" limit helps manage this performance risk. If you want to see all the data, use a standard list with a sort. Then control-f will work.
You can show the full list and use an interactive filter to allow the user to identify what they want to see or just search the list with a control-f if that is easiest.
Alternatively, you can use a donut or pie chart with a drill down to a list view and have it act as an interactive filter. This will perform better and have the added benefit of showing you the distribution of the data (just set the report to act as an interactive filter):
