When you selected a dashboard than any sub-sequent login would bring you to that dashboard. Yes you could still get to the dashboard overview page but when more dashboards have been shared with you that makes a ton of sense. As our customer base digitises more and more workflows you can imagine it would be better to have a dashboard per "stream" like HR and IT for example. Wouldn't you agree?

Hey Vignesh,
The main area in the Responsive dashboard to share it with the user is the sharing panel. So whoever you share it there (can be role, group, user). By sharing you can identify who can see this dashboard.
There is one additional configuration possible on top - in the dashboard properties you can restrict dashboard to the role (e.g. pa_viewer), this will allow preventing sharing dashboard by the incident with users who do not have a role. If restricted to a role is chosen - this will mean that in order to see the dashboard user should have this dashboard shared with (via role, group or user at the sharing panel) AND he should have one of the roles specified in the "restricted to the role" at the dashboard properties page.
For the user you shared directly the dashboard - double check if he has also the pa_viewer role.
You can find more detailed info of the permissions at the Responsive Dashboards here:
Troubleshoot permissions on a responsive dashboard
Please mark the correct or helpful of this helps.
Thanks
Swapnil
