I'm trying to learn more about the UI Builder based Technical Editor feature in Platform Analytics. I already managed to create a custom Transform Data Broker which returns (just for exercising) a set of Stories with a few fields + the calculated Cycle Time. Now I want to bind this Data resource to a widget, but I'm kind of stuck.
Binding the Data source appears to be easy (my_data_source.output), but the "Metric" and "Dimensions" areas of the configuration are giving me headaches. Even with the "Single score" type (which doesn't have Dimensions), I am still asked to "please use dynamic configuration for metrics". What does it mean, and how can I tell it which fields to use where? With that binding/pill picking editor, I don't seem to get the right values selected.
