Hi all,
Our client is using dashboards quite heavily, which is working very well for them. We have also encouraged that they use existing reports to the greatest extent possible, rather than recreating identical or nearly identical reports.
What we would need is a list of which reports are being used in which dashboards. The business requirement is that someone may want to make changes/additions to an existing report, and would like to first see which dashboards are utilizing that report, so that they can take that into consideration before making any changes. Is there a way to see this?
thanks /Tommy

Thanks for your replies, I agree Dependency Assessment is really useful and can kind of do what I'm looking for but not exactly! I just want a list of all relations between reports and dashboards, so that someone who e.g wants to make changes to the "All Open Incidents" report can quickly see which dashboards have a widget containing this report. I can find that out using Depency Assessment, however it's a lot of steps and a bit backwards for my scenario.

You can access the Dependency Assessment directly from the Admin Console under Explore and Manage. At the top of this view there is a drop-down where you can select "Reports". Then the second drop-down will list all reports (presuming you have access to the reports).

We also face the same questions as @Tommy SN Sahlin does.
The information provided in this thread was helpful but it is not the answer to the questions from our client as they want to see from each report in which dashboard(s) it is being used (mainly to avoid that changes to a report lead to a non-functioning dashboard.
There should be a table somewhere which contains all reports and where we can see the dashboard(s) the reports are being used in?

Have the same need! Anyone knows where to query "a list of dashboards that use report x"?
