How do I duplicate a tab from a teammate's dashboard?

I have read this post detailing how to duplicate a tab on a dashboard. I have editor access to the dashboard -- I followed the steps:

1) open the dashboard

2) open Dashboard Properties

3) click on the 'Dashboard Tabs' tab

4) click on the 'New' button

5) look up the Tab value (the tab to duplicate); specify an Order value (for where the new tab is to appear); click on 'Submit'

However I am stuck on step 5 because the only look up values that are available are tabs that I created. I have tried to manually type in the tab name, but I get an error message. Am I missing specific permissions? I am unsure what to request from the creator/owner of the dashboard to accomplish this task.

"Insert and Stay" will work! You will just have to go back to the "Dashboard properties" screen after inserting the record to see dashboard tabs for steps 6+7.

I am not actually sure if your method worked, I tried it and something weird happened that I don't know how to even put in words haha. But since my first message I now have the pa_power_user role and I think that helped because now I do see the option to copy the Tabs for the Dashboard!

Do you know how I would be able to reverse engineer a Widget so that I would be able to see the query and recreate the visualization?
