How do you remove past data collected to a certain point in time within PA?

I see below options in the indicator. But would like to know the exact job that does this removal process. Also would like to understand difference between Periods to keep scores and Periods to keep snapshots? Does both refer to the number of days? Eg: I would like to show the data collected from Nov 15 and would like to remove rest of the data in the widget.

The removal process is managed automatically by the platform’s data-retention job, which deletes older records based on the settings you choose. “Periods to keep scores” controls how long score records stay, while “Periods to keep snapshots” controls how long snapshot history is stored. Both usually refer to days. If you only want data from Nov 15 onward, set the retention period to match the number of days from that date to today, and older data will be removed in the next cleanup cycle.
