How to create trend line report over a month

Hi All

Recently implemented SN so want to start making use of the reports.

I can successfully create a trend report showing number of incidents created per day. What I would like to do is have this showing per month but have it with a different line for each week and then the lines labelled appropriately. This is so that I can analayse at a glance what our busiest days are within a month.

Sorry Douglas, only just spotted this in the PA community although I suspect it is ordinary reports you are after?

Have you tried changing the "trend by" to DATE (not DAY).

With my filter set to "Created Last Month" I find it really useful to show my busiest days. (no trend line though!)

Although these would give me a trend over the month, I'm wanting to be able to have trend lines for each week of the month with the X axis being day's of the week. This is so that I identify if we have busier days in general so if all 4 lines spike on a Tuesday, I will know this is the busiest day.

It just saves me having to work out what dates reflect what days.

I don't think you'll get all that in one report. But of course if you switch the TREND BY to DAY and review "last month's created" then you will see which day of the week is busiest.
