How to customize Date range for Dashboard in Servicenow?

Hi guys, I have a requirement to customize the ServiceNow Dashboard date range. I have read and implemented the following article but I have missed something ( https://www.servicenow.com/community/platform-analytics-forum/how-to-create-a-date-range-interactive...
Please help me figure out what I need to do.
These are the steps I have practiced:
1- Create a Custom Interactive filter widget
2. I have created a UI macro following this https://www.servicenow.com/community/platform-analytics-forum/date-range-filter-in-a-dashboard/m-p/1...
3. When I come to the Dashboard widget, it shows null for Custom Interactive Filter.
Could you help me how to add the UI macro to the widget? Or what should I do?

What are you missing in the OOB filter possibilities that you are trying to add as an interactive filter? With the Zurich release every instance will be forced to use Platform Analytics and all old dashboards (and the related components) will be migrated to PAE. Big chance that you filter won't work anymore, but PAE does have extended functionality on its data filter. Maybe check that one out and create your dashboard on PAE already, since you will only be able to use this one for a year?
