Starting to migrate dashboards into the Platform Analytics Experience, but there seems to be no way to export data from a simple list on the dashboard? In the classic experience, you can right-click on the headers and choose from the export options (Excel being the most relevant).
I've seen that you can export from a Data Vizualization, but that doesn't suit our use cases, as we need to be able to apply interactive filters to the list prior to exporting. For example, we have a dashboard used by our Finance Team to filter and download CapEx expense lines generated from time cards each fiscal period. They need to be able to filter by date, and time card approval date prior to exporting.
The 'View All' option seems like a work-around, but my other gripe is that it loads up the filtered view in a classic list screen, but doesn't keep the columns from the dashboard - instead just applying the default view on that table instead. I guess I can create a specific 'View' on the table and train my excel-happy finance team how to change views, but this seem like a backwards step for the 'Next Experience'.
(Note: I tried showing Finance how to use a Report, but editing in-line filters is beyond their brain capacity, especially since there's 5 other fixed filters required apart from dates - hence the need for interactive filters on a dashboard).
Does anyone have a decent solution for exporting from PAE Dashboards?
If someone from the PAE team sees this post: Exporting is a basic feature that your dashboards should have - could you prioritize that on your backlog, please? Thank you!

Hi,
thank you for reaching out and the feedback.
We will support Business calendars in trend by Data visualizations Time series as of Yokohama release.
We are also working to support the export from the List visualizations in the Platform Analytics dashboards directly, this is expected for the Zurich release (safe harbor).
We will support also pagination in the new version of the List.
Thank you

Any update on this? We have migrated from performance to platform analytics and a few of our clients are now unable to export the data they need from their dashboards.

Hi @Charles_gio, we have supported the export from the Data visualization in Zurich release.
Charts will support exporting to PNG/JPEG and the list will support PDF, Excel and CSV.
From last December Store release we are supporting exporting as well to CSV and Excel from all data visualizations except Indicator scorecard.
