How to share the Dashboard with the Reports in one go?

When I share a Dashboard to a user, I also need to share all the reports visible as a widget on the dashboard individually one by one.

Is it possible to share the Dashboard and all the Reports within that dashboard should be automatically shared to the user?

Unfortunately this can not be done, if I am not wrong! Hope others can provide some input how this can be implemented.

Create a group so you only have to add new users in one group and not x numbers of reports on a dashboard

Yes, but still I need to share the reports to that group one by one so that all the reports on the dashboard can be seen by the group members. I am looking for a solution where sharing a dashboard should share all the reports within it as well.

Hi Subhash

That is not possible nowadays. Security of a report is independent of the security of a dashboard. Why? because you can have a report in other places than in a dashboard, and if you don't secure it properly you can end up with a situation that a user is seeing some data that is not supposed to be seen in a dashboard only because that report is in a dashboard that the user has access.

I agree is not very convenient and probably this will be improve it in next releases if this issue gets more and more concerns from customers
