Is it possible to display %s on visualizations in platform analytics?

Hello -

 

I am still learning platform analytics and trying to build some visualizations. I was wondering if there is a way to display percentages on numbers or charts.

 

For example, it is possible to calculate SLA compliance with a percentage using performance analytics, but from my understanding, performance analytics and Core UI reporting/dashboards is transitioning over in favor of the newer tool, KPIs and platform analytics visualizations/dashboards.

For percentages, you will need Performance Analytics Indicators.

 

2 automated indicators:

  • Total of what you need (this would be 100%)
  • Data of which you need the percentage compared to the 100%

1 Formula indicator with Unit = % where the formula is Data divided by Total multiplied by 100

 

At the end, that formula indicator shows the percentage you need and you can use it on Core UI dashboard with a PA Widget or Platform Analytics dashboard by creating a Data Visualization and setting the Indicator as data source.
