Is Jmeter Compatible on ServiceNow for Performance Tetsing

Could anyone please let me know If Jmeter is the right tool that can be used to do performance Testing on ServiceNow. If Yes?, request you to share the best practices to be followed and If No?, Please share your inputs on Performance Testing in ServiceNow with recommended Tools.
