Yokohama Patch 1
On our sub-prod instance, we used the migration tool to migrate to Platform Analytics and activated the migrated content. I'm confused about a few things I ran into afterwards.
- The classic reports menu is no longer available. It was my understanding that this would still be available after the migration. It was available to admin users when I tried this last year on an earlier family release (probably Washington). How do we access this in Yokohama?
- I also thought users would be automatically redirected to the migrated reports/dashboards. This doesn't seem to be the case. I impersonated several users and found that their default dashboard is not displayed; instead they are redirected to Platform Analytics --> Library --> Dashboards to select a dashboard.
Was my understanding incorrect or is this the expected behavior?
Thank you

We're now going thru a full SPM project for migrating to Platform Analytics (mostly to track the communications plan). Don't quote me on this, but I *think* the redirect piece might come with the final 'activate' on the migration center page, which shows after all content has completed migration. We're on Yokohama now, and up to this point we've done individual dashboard migration, and the redirect did NOT start happening on those. Maybe that helps?

Thank you. The redirection is handled by the final 'activate' in Migration Center. That was not the issue for us since we activated the content prior to testing the redirection. When we updated UI Builder plugins as recommended by Now Support, the default dashboard redirection worked as expected. However, this did not resolve the issue with navigation menu report links; those were still opening the Core UI versions of reports. Now Support requested that we migrate again and activate content using the Migration Center. We did that. It did not resolve the issue with report links and actually broke the default dashboard redirection but Now Support does not believe that; they are saying the users we listed as examples did not have a default dashboard selected. However, the default dashboard redirection was working as expected for those users prior to migrating again and activating migrated content.
