MULTIPLE_DUPLICATE_RECORDS - Found duplicate records in table [cmdb_ci_hardware] using fields [name]

We are facing an identification error - MULTIPLE_DUPLICATE_RECORDS - Found duplicate records in table [cmdb_ci_hardware] using fields [name]. The linux server that we are discovering already has 7 records in cmdb with the same name, out of which 6 are marked retired and there is only one installed record. Ideally the IRE rules are supposed to take care of this as one of the entry for the Hardware table's Identification rule is set on 'name'. Is there something that we're missing?

I've tried Identification Simulation and it's the same output.

Discovery Error:

Kindly use the "RETRIEVE PAYLOAD" button in the "Payload Processing" section to check and address all IRE errors before rerunning the discovery

I am having the problem with kubernetes pattern not able to update/create CI because of the Duplicate records  using the Name. Even I have set the property not to create Linux SERVER

sn_itom_pattern.kubernetes_create_server=false.
