Need some help creating a combined bar and line report.

The bars need to show open and closed for month and the line is for backlogs. I know I can do the line from multiple dataset report. I just cannot figure out how to get the open and closed incidents on one bar chart,

Assuming you use a PA Timeseries widget, you can add a Widget Indicator via the related list on the bottom of the form.

You can choose a different visualisation for this indicator.

There is an oob example for this use case in relation to incidents. You can find the documentation here:

It should already exsist in your instance under "custom charts" if you have the custom chart plugin activated.
