PA Report - Pivot table month issue

Hi All!

I want to display a month field in a Pivot Table visualization to show incident categories by month.
Currently, I have added a calculated/functional field that returns the month in the format YYYY-MM (for example, 2025-12). However, I need the month to be displayed in the month name format (for example, Jan, Feb, etc.).

I tried formatting the field to show the month name, but this causes an ordering issue in the report, as the months are sorted alphabetically instead of chronologically.

Could you please suggest the best way to display month names while maintaining the correct month order in the Pivot Table?

Also, on which table are you creating it, and which field is being used — is it a custom field? This will help me try it on my end.

Also create a report of type Trend or Column & then you can select Month but yes that would mean that you will not have pivot reporting obviously.
