Hi,

Can someone help me to understand whether we can create performance analytics indicators and dashboards for Custom tables in ServiceNow. If yes, do we need any separate subscription?

Thanks

Performance Analytics is licensed based on the data being analyzed.  If you have specific questions, I would contact your Account Executive, but in general, the table was created as part of some subscription.  If that subscription contains Performance Analytics, then you should be fine.

However, if you have a custom table created as part of one subscription (let's say HR) that did not come with Performance Analytics, then you are not entitled to use Performance Analytics on that table even if you have a Performance Analytics subscription for some other applications (for instance ITSM Pro).  If that table was part of the ITSM Pro subscription, then you would be entitled to use Performance Analytics on that (along with all the OOTB ITSM tables.

The application may not stop you from creating something you are not entitled to, but that doesn't mean you are always entitled to use it that way.

If in doubt, contact your Account Executive.

Hi,

Yes, you can create indicators for custom tables. If you have performance analytics license there is no difference in licensing as of which type of table.

When creating your indicators, this is a good guidance:

Hi Ashok,

You can create the custom indicators, breakdowns, dashboard etc if you have Complementary / premium license for Performance analytics it doesn't matter on which table you are creating whether it might be incident/change or your own custom table. complementary version give you historical data for 180 days only, and if you have premium version then you will get full data.

find below link for the same:-

Regards,

Tushar

The complimentary version of Performance Analytics does not allow you to create new indicators.
