Platform Analytics: adding knowledge content to dashboard

We have several Core UI Dashboards with a tab that displays a knowledge article. The migrated version of dashboard is not really acceptable. I am in the process of recreating the dashboard in Platform Analytics. From what I can tell, I use the Technical Editor, click Add Content and select single column layout. Then I click Add content and select Knowledge Content. It adds some random knowledge article. I'm missing something since I don't see a way to select/specify the knowledge article I actually want to display here. How do you specify/select the knowledge article to be displayed in the content block?

A data resource needs to be added using Get knowledge record details. It needs to be configured then bound to the knowledge content component on the dashboard. Sounds simple but took a bit of time for me to implement since I am not well versed using UI Builder and the documentation is sorely lacking.
