Platform Analytics Dashboard fails to load

Hi all,

I'm creating our first custom PA Dashboard to replace the OOTB "Overview" dashboard that's used in the Service Operations Workspace (SOW).

Issue

We're noticing an issue where the "Home Tab" widgets show a spinning icon, but never load automatically when we first open the dashboard. We do not experience any issue after we manually refresh the DB or as we're using it throughout the day. It's only on the initial load.

Can anyone help me pinpoint the issue?

Details

  1. There's only 5 of us using the DB right now, so I don't think its a performance issue.
    1. The target group using this will be about 400 people, so we will need to keep the load light.
    2. We realize there may be a performance issue with the # of people x the # of widgets x Refresh rate. We are in the process of prioritizing what stays and goes.
  2. There are 8 Score widgets showing when it first loads (4 in the top area and 4 on the first tab)
  3. All widgets are filtered dynamically to "Me" or "One of my groups"
  4. There are 43 total widgets across 9 tabs.
  5. Only 2 widgets refresh "Live"
    1. There is no refresh on any other widget
  6. The DB itself has a 60 min "Scheduled Repetition" setting
  7. We are on Yokohama, latest version
    1. PA plugins and apps are up to date
    2. Soon to upgrade to Zurich

If I'm missing any details, please ask.

Thanks in advance for any advice.

Mathew

That sounds like a case to ServiceNow support as an engineer would need to check what exactly is happening. Especially that it can be reproduced (always on initial load).

Thank you Sergiu.

I thought that may be the case. I wanted to check with the community first.
