Platform Analytics - Date filter issue

Hi everyone,

I am trying to build a date filter on Platform Analytics based on the "Valid To" date for knowledge articles and blocks. What I have noticed, however, is when configuring data to filter on, when selecting any date field like "Published" or "Created," the Field selection loads for one second, then it clears and prompts me to select a field again.

Is this a permissions issue or glitch? I do not have admin permissions, however, I have standard reporting permissions and access to performance analytics through the pa_power_user role.

Under this SNOW Forum Thread, somebody mentioned: "one thing we have found though, if you are a report admin but not a system admin, we cannot actually chose the incident or task table for a date filter.  When we choose a date field like created, it just clears it out.  System Admin can do it, but no one else can in our instance. "

Interesting. What version are you on? And have you asked your admin if there are field-level ACLs on those fields?

Hi Jeff - I believe we are in Xanadu at the moment. I have not asked my admin if there are field-level ACLs but it shouldn't be an issue on any of the date fields because I can view them alongside other folks with knowledge related roles.

I had to essentially reach out to my sys admin who is slated as the reporting contact to get the date filter configured, but am not sure if this is a general issue across other instances.

Did you find an answer to this? I'm currently testing on a Personal Developer Instance (Xanadu) and I see the exact same issue.  The Sys Admin can create a date filter fine on the kb_knolwedge table, but a user with the knowledge_admin, and platform_analytics_admin roles can't create a date filter on the kb_knowledge table (it's possible to select one of the date fields i.e. created but it disappears straight after selection with no error message)

Hi Neil - no answer here. I had to essentially get my sys admin to help configure the date filter for me. She was able to do it without any issues.
