Platform Analytics – How to filter by string field in interactive filters?

Hi everyone,

I’m currently working with Platform Analytics dashboards and I need to create an interactive filter based on a string field.

I’ve already found this post related to Performance Analytics:
https://www.servicenow.com/community/platform-analytics-forum/create-interactive-filter-to-search-on...

However, that solution relies on older approaches (e.g., dynamic content blocks) and I’m trying to understand what can be implemented in Platform Analytics.

Is it currently possible to create an interactive filter for a string field in Platform Analytics?

Has anyone implemented a “contains” or free-text search filter in dashboards?

Use case:
I have a custom string field (not a reference) and users need to filter dashboard data dynamically based on partial matches (similar to a “contains” filter).

Any guidance, best practices, or examples would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance!
