Problem management ATF

A Problem Manager creates a Problem Task (PTASK) from a Problem that is currently in the Assess state and assigns it to the Support Group Lead. Verify that the PTASK automatically copies the relevant information from the parent Problem, the 14-day Root Cause Analysis (RCA) SLA starts as soon as the task is assigned, and an email notification is sent to the assigned user informing them of the new task.

Hi

This should be straightforward to implement. The same process you perform manually can also be automated and validated through ATF.

Please follow the same approach in ATF, or check whether there are any out-of-the-box ATF tests for Problem Management and review the test coverage that is already available.

Hi @SuganyaV6003655

Verify that creating a Problem Task (PTASK) results in the following:

  • Relevant data from the parent record is successfully copied to the PTASK.
  • The 14-day Root Cause Analysis (RCA) SLA starts when the PTASK is assigned.
  • An email notification is automatically generated and sent to the designated recipients.
