After upgrading to Australia, found some great success with the dynamic "is in hierarchy" function in List Views. It works well to quickly filter a single list down to show all work on a manager and/or their sub-leader structure.
Where I'm struggling, getting it to work in the Next PA reporting/dashboard experience. Have built a dashboard with various ticketing data in it - ITSM, SPM, SecOps, etc. However, the intent is to use this dynamically in real-time as part of recurring operational readiness calls where the call coordinator will need to present and filter the dashboard to a named manager, director, VP, C-Suite Exec, etc. to show the work within/across their respective area.
In experimenting with Filter Group or Filter options, was able to get a hierarchical filter to work, but only against the Sys_User table. Have been unable to extend that relationship to sys_user_group, incident, problem, rm_stories, etc. Setting up the filter source as shown here works in conjunction with the Data to Filter setup for sys_user, but no other table.
However, the moment I try to create something similar from that sys_user hierarchy off to a group owner, it doesn't seem like all the right hooks/relationships are there.
Anyone having success with this approach in PA Next Dashboards?
