Remove top genius result

How do I remove the top genius result altogether? Please see attached screenshot.

Not sure that's gonna be possible. If i may ask why do you need to remove it?

It doesn't add much value as the search result is repeated below.

Also, for some reason you can't click through on the top genius result to get to the request item (I believe that worked in the past).

You can try writing a result improvement rule - and demote it.
