Reporting on both INC and REQ/RITM on one report

Hi All,

Still learning regards reporting and with all the preparation for COVID-19 i need to run a report daily that shows the number of INC Requests/RITMs created on a daily basis associated with our remote working. From an INC point of view is a view of INC logged from users having issues. REQ/RITM is to view how many users are logging requests for new IT hardware such as Laptops/RSA tokens etc.

i know how to build and run a report that shows one of these but unsure how to get the report to show both INC and REQ etc as I know its separate tables.

HI,

Create report on task table instead of incident and ritm or req. Task table will give you all child table records and then you can filter that out using task type as incident or request item as below:
