Reporting open and closed calls per day over a period

Hi

I need to build a report that gives the number of calls logged per day and closed per day over a specified period but cannot for the life of me work out how to do it.

I also need to build a report of totals: So on day 1 we had 4 calls opened and 2 closed then on day 2 we had 6 opened and 7 closed. Example below of what I mean, is it possible to do this without the analytics module?

It is from an incident table, although not the main table but one created for a specific subset of calls


Please create a report as shown below(replace Table with your table name) and let me know if it works for you

So that tells me how many calls were logged each day and if they are still open.



What I really need to know is the total of calls logged on any given day, and how many calls were also closed on that day regardless of when they were logged
