ServiceNow Story State Change Analysis

I would like to do some analysis on story-based state change trend.

For example, I would like to see how many times a story gets failed in testing and move to next sprint.

Is there an existing report that I can leverage? Or is there a way to build a report to show the trend of state changes per story?

OOTB, the report is not available. However, you can create the metric in the Story table and add the required condition. Metrics are available OOTB and would be helpful in this case.

There is no out-of-the-box (OOB) report available in ServiceNow to track how many times an individual story has failed testing and been moved to the next sprint.

To achieve this, a custom report needs to be created using a Process mining/ Metric Definition.
