Does anyone know if there is a way to stop the simple list from using the task table as its default table. This table can be quite large with many active records in it. It would make sense for it to default to no table or a smaller table so that the user can update the table appropriately with filters but not have to wait for the task table to load. Also, the default visualization name should be blank as well just like the chart name is blank on other visualizations. Thoughts?

There won’t be a solution available until the Zurich release. I’ve raised an HI case and was informed that the issue will be addressed in the upcoming release.

In fact, we are replacing the Simple List component entirely in Zurich with a new List that the Platform Analytics and List teams worked on together. Your Simple Lists will be migrated automatically on upgrade. The new List behaves much more like a normal data visualization.
