Top 10 CI By Incident

I need to create an indicator which will show me the top 10 CI's per used per week, month and quarter within Incidents.
I do not want a breakdown. I want the widget to display the top 10 without having to drill into a breakdown.
I tried this a variety of ways, using a report as a report source. did not work.
I am not sure how to set this up. I have been using the incident table but perhaps I should be using the cmdb_ci table and putting in a condition?
Below are the requirements.
Top 10 configuration items, incidents by volume, trending. Open or closed state.
* Show weekly
* show monthly
*show quarterly.
Is this possible not using a breakdown?

I believe there may be many ways of doing this. You can always use ServicePortal or even leverage a UI Page to build a custom report

An almost identical widget is already a part of the CMDB dashboard - maybe you can use that

I can't seem to find these widgets under the Performance Analytics widget section and I can't edit them. Is there a way to view these widgets to see what breakdowns and indicator sources they belong to?

You could also just create a normal report --> filter on dates --> Group by Impacted CI.
This shows you the top 10 in the specified timespan.
