User unable to see dashboard reports even after sharing it with them

Hi All,

I have created few reports but even after sharing it with the users for them to view, it says "No Data Available".

Reports created using 'task_sla' table data is viewable but for 'incidents' table it says "No Data Available".

Can it be because of any underlying ACLs?

What can be an alternative?

Thanks and Regards

Saurabh

Hi Saurabh,

It could possible be ACL issue on the tables of the reports.

Firstly they must have ITIL to see the reports.

Navigate: System Security--> Access Control (ACL).

type in the search box     Go To-->Operation-->Report_On.

Once you have the Report_On Operations displayed, find the particular table you are interested in, scroll to the bottom to the Section 'Requires Roles" and make sure the proper role is mentioned for the user required.

Mark my answer correct & Helpful, if Applicable.

Thanks,
Sandeep

Hi Saurabh,

ACLs would probably say Security Restriction. Can you share the screenshot of error they are getting.

There are ACL's on the tables of type "report_view". If the user(s) are not holding a role that is listed here, they will not be able to view the reports, even if they can view the table data.
