Working on Reports for Portal

Hi,

 

I want to create a few reports for the portals that we have but before starting I had a couple of doubts-

1> Can we create reports normally like we create for tables?

2> Can we add the reports in the same dashboard that we add our normal report?

 

Also some resources on portal reporting will be very helpful . I have gone through user analytics but I am not usre if we can add this to our normal dashboard
