Do you need a special license to run the Process Mining on the standard version of ServiceNow (Yokohama release)? I see the example and the option on the Navigation panel. Other than assigning a role, is there anything else needed to make this active?

You will need a process mining license to create any new projects in a production instance, and have at least one Pro level capability that enables the underlying machine learning environment required by Process Mining.
You can certainly test this in a sub-production instance and create a project for change for up to 3600 records. The Process Mining analyst role will allow you to create a project. I would also encourage you to download and install the ITSM Content pack for process mining which includes a configuration to get you started for Change Request.

Assuming you are looking to test the evaluation projects in your production instance. In Yokohama, you will have 3 projects available. For incident, you will need the itil or snc_internal role in order to be able to see that project and use it. For HR Case, it will be one of the HR roles, and for customer case, it will be one of the customer service roles(manager or agent).

Actually, I am a Change Manager and just finished the course and wondered if I was assigned the sn_process_optimization_analyst role, would I be able to create my own projects for Changes with the Standard version or do I only have limitations without paying for a license or subscription?
