Hey @glideFather - yes I recall the survey and the related speculation a few months ago. I wonder where that is process is at.
The whole PDI infrastructure seems to be so unstable these days, I'm sure there would be a market for a paid product, provided it offered a reliable solution.
Cynics might say ServiceNow are under-resourcing the maintenance of the PDIs to encourage uptake of the paid offer when it's launched. I have no idea if there's any truth to that.
It would also seem like a fair assumption that the engineering team that maintains the PDIs suffered cutbacks during the recent rounds of redundancies. Again I have know knowledge as to whether that's true or not.

ahoy @gharshita24,
unfortunately, once reclaimed it's gone forever...
Have you been logging in from /login.do page (explicit login)?
we must log in from https://yourDomain.service-now.com/login.do as clicking the Start building button is not considered as activity and thus it could have been reclaimed after 10 days without activity (without explicit login)
Might be this or doesn't necessarily needs to be..

Hi glideFather,
Thank you for the clarification. I just wanted to confirm one thing regarding the inactivity/reclamation of the PDI.
I have always accessed my PDI by logging in directly by clicling on the URL Link. Could this be the reason my PDI was considered inactive and subsequently reclaimed? If so, I’ll make sure to explicitly log in through the Developer portal going forward.
I’d appreciate your confirmation, as I’d like to avoid losing my PDI and work again in the future.
Thanks for your help.

yes @gharshita24, based on the information provided from Keeping PDIs Available for Active Builders: Upcoming PDI Reclamation Changes that could be the reason:
What's Changing
We're reclaiming PDIs that meet both of these conditions:
- 90 days or older (based on when they were provisioned)
- Haven't had a PDI login in the last 10 days
Background processes and developer site logins don’t count toward activity. An explicit login to your PDI is required.
