Will assessments/questionnaires support multiple user responders

I have a roadmap or product feature question: Will assessments/questionnaires natively support multiple user responders any time in the near future?

 

We have use cases where we want the same assessment instance needs to be shared with a defined list of users. The questions will be answered and submitted by any member of this group of users. This most often needed when the respondent could be anyone from the small list, the assessment sender wants to let the first available user to submit and doesn't want to 'lock-in' a single user when the assessment is launched.

 

An alternate use-case is where a team is needed to answer the assessment and it is preferred to allow them to enter responses themselves directly into ServiceNow, versus somehow have answers collected and entered by a single assigned user.

You may want to check on the idea portal for this to see if it has already been put in there. 

I do see some issues making me think it won't be included anytime soon. What if two people start working on it at the same time? Depending on the behavior, the last one to submit looses all information he entered, or the info from the first one gets over written. 

 

I think for now it would be a good thing to either use a group email, so someone can respond from there, or send it to all and just expire the open ones on the first submit.

Thanks for your response. It is true that there could be a 'race' condition, but in practice it isn't likely and wouldn't matter. The first submitted wins is acceptable. Although it would be even better to have additional submissions logged.

 

Also, the concern is NOT about notification. Using a group email would help let people know about the assessment but would  not address the concern - it is more about the PERMISSIONs. When an assessment is assigned it will not allow any other user to read or submit it. So unless we made a shared user in ServiceNow there is not an easy way for the group email users to be able to follow the link.

 

Please let me know if I am missing anything in your suggestion that would allow people in a group email to be able to access a common assessment. This is exactly what I am looking for.
