Supplier Collaboration Portal/Tasks not generated in the supplier collaboration portal

Need help in understanding Supplier Onboarding Lifecycle.
1. Can a new supplier contact register from the Supplier Collaboration Portal if the supplier is not yet onboarding(Assuming the Supplier is yet to be onboarded). If yes, what is the lifecycle of this process? How does the approval takes place?
(When tried the above, the supplier contact is tagged to some other Supplier)
2. Tasks are not visible in the supplier collaboration portal even after having the approriate roles, if they register through external supplier registeration.
3. In the external user registeration form, not getting the 'supplier' even after being in the Xanadu December 2024 version. (https://www.servicenow.com/docs/bundle/yokohama-source-to-pay-operations/page/product/supplier-lifec...)

If you need to add a supplier contact whose email domain differs from the supplier's domain, you must Enable M2M mapping between supplier contact and suppliers.

For the first question, currently, it’s not possible to initiate onboarding from the Supplier Collaboration Portal.
For the second and third questions, we’ll need to review the scenarios and will share our response accordingly.
